Shabbat Morning Torah Study - Ongoing
We will gather each month in a public space to share in learning and community. No prior knowledge is needed. Texts will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own version of a Torah Commentary. Rabbi Bravo will lead the conversation.
Our location may vary, though we can be found often in a diner, Panera or at the Bethpage Worship Center.

Rosh Chodesh Monthy Gatherings for Women - Ongoing
Rosh Chodesh is the beginning of a new Jewish month; it is a special time that is marked by Jewish women around the world through study and learning together. Makom NY holds a monthly Rosh Chodesh for women in the homes of our participants. We come together - to learn, to share and to discuss a topic of choice. More information can be found HERE or complete the form to the right on this page.
These self-selected and self-directed groups are co-led by the Rabbi and a Jewish educator. No prior experience, knowledge or background is necessary. Just come!
We encourage all participants in Makom NY events to make a donation in order to help support our programs. Suggested donation for these ongoing learning opportunities is $18 per session or, for those who are able, to engage at the Shorashim level. Donations may be made by submitting a check
to the address below or simply clicking here. We thank you for your generosity in supporting Makom NY events.
