Makom NY offers multiple ways for our teens to engage
with the community and with one another.
Rather than ‘meetings’ or ‘sessions’, our teens will get together each month in various places doing fun, interesting activities and mitzvah projects. The days/times of the gatherings and activities will be determined by the teens themselves.
Teen programs are typically at a fee for service model, with suggested donations for various programs.
Our teens typically engage in our community in any of 3 ways:
1. By volunteering in our Moadon school with our younger students
2. By leading Shabbat and/or holiday services through music, teachings and Torah chanting
3. By coming together for social justice and mitzvah projects in the greater Long Island community
4. By joining other teens for social and timely conversations.
