HIGH HOLY DAYS
Welcome to MakomNY. We invite you to celebrate the holiness and joy of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with MakomNY. All are welcome. Services are led by Rabbi Deborah Bravo, with musical director David Bravo.
The MakomNY community welcomes people from all backgrounds. We have intentionally created a pluralist and intergenerational community that meets the diverse needs of the individuals, couples and families who participate. People come from both liberal and traditional backgrounds; we have interfaith couples and families, singles, millennials, seniors and more.
MakomNY’s High Holy Day Season includes services, programming, learning and communal festive holiday meals. Our services include Hebrew prayers with transliteration, so everyone can follow along. We supplement our services with beautiful, intentional, spiritual readings, meditations and insights in English.
