RABBI DEBORAH BRAVO
OUR MODEL
"Our ROOTS are our history, deeply planted in tradition.
Like a tree, the roots are bare, showing what we have in common.
We share the same past; we remain strong because our roots are strong."

with Judaism as the vehicle for that flourishing." Rabbi Bravo

How Our Model Works Through our model we bring the Long Island community new and inspiring ways to experience Judaism, with NO mandatory membership dues OR building fund. "We exist today and can only thrive, and deliver high-level programming with your ongoing voluntary contributions. How wonderful it is, and what pride you should take knowing you are giving towards the future, and building a promising Jewish foundation for today and for generations to come." Rabbi Bravo |
Planting Roots and Branching Out: The 'Shorashim Donation Program' We created our Shorashim Donation Program, literally meaning 'Putting Down Roots', as a way for individuals, couples and families to simply make easy automatic monthly donations to the community (or annual if preferred). We welcome your participation and engagement in MakomNY, and hope you will call on us to share in your lives. |
Those who engage in the Shorashim Donation Program may attend all MakomNY programs and actitivies at no additional per program donation, including High Holy Day Services, as well as family, social, cultural and learning events.
