MITZVAH OPPORTUNITIES
SOCIAL JUSTICE AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
"It is not up to you to finish the work, but neither are you free to ignore it." ~Talmud
Tikkun Olam is the Jewish way of saying 'the world needs fixing, and it's our job to fix it.'
Tikkun Olam is one of the core foundations of Jewish Life. It conveys that while the world is innately good, all our activities are opportunities to improve it. Each and every human being has a part in this mission - 'child or adult, student or entrepreneur, industrialist or artist, caregiver or salesperson, political activist or environmentalist, or just another one of us struggling to keep afloat.' We know that it is hard to make time in the rush of life today. Spend time with us giving back and making the world a better place, knowing you made a difference in the world for today, and tomorrow. It feels good. At every moment possible we create opportunities to help create a better world. We also welcome you to bring us various causes and opportunities that are important to you so we join you as a community. COOKING UP A MITZVAHMonthly Cooking for Local PantryNEW THIS YEAR!
